"First time working with Household Electric and I will use them forever more. John Bowen, owner of this company is the actual electrician who works on your concerns. It’s really nice to have the owner working on things. From the start, John worked quickly and efficiently to do the following: fixed my outlets that were not working, replaced plug plates, installed an outdoor wall light, and installed a solar motion security light on the side of my home. He is legit, a talented and very knowledgeable electrician. He even explained to me how to understand the bulb numbers on the packaging and how to choose the correct brightness for indoor or outdoor lighting! I highly recommend Household Electric! The pricing was more than fair too!"
"John and his crew did amazing work for us! He upgraded all of the knob & tube wiring in our 100 year old Tower District home. They were very professional and gave clear recommendations without just trying to upsell us. The price came in right where his estimate was and the quality of work was excellent. Professional and Efficient
"John and Dustin were very friendly and attention oriented. They did the job of installing a chandelier on a tall ceiling very efficiently even though they had to move a long ladder into the house. Very happy with the service"
"Before calling Household Electric, I'd called one of the best rated electrician services on google for Fresno. They sent two electricians out at different times, both said the problem we had needed a panel upgrade. I asked how that explained the problem we had, and their response wasn't very convincing... but what do I know? They were plenty polite and prompt, but their estimate definitely seemed high. That's when I called John at Household Electric. I told him I needed an estimate on a panel upgrade, and that maybe he could just double check that was actually the cause. He immediately gave me pge's number, which he knew by memory, and literally diagnosed the problem over the phone, and told me how to get it fixed by pge, for free. I'm not convinced the other guys are bad or crooked, but John was on an entirely different level. It's a real relief to know you're dealing with someone honest and very smart. When I called to thank him after pge had fixed everything, he seemed genuinely happy for the both of us-- that he had caught the issue over the phone, and that I'd avoided thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. Didn't even ask for this review. I will only be calling and recommending Household Electric from now on. If I was younger and learning the trade, I would be at their door trying to get my training from them."
